This new Crandon Police Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) coin has just arrived. The coin features a dual plated coloring featuring an antique gold and antique silver plating. The coin is themed after Greek warriors. The front of the coin features the DRE emblem in an antique gold plating. On the sides in greek is the number "7" for the seven drug categories the DRE program uses. On the right side is the number "12" for the 12 step process the DRE program follows. On top features the word Crandon and the bottom Police. This is a 2" 4mm thick coin.
On the backside features the words "standardized" and "systematic" which is the slogan for the DRE process. In the center features a soldier. on his back are two syringe needles (for CNS stimulants), on them are mushrooms growing (Hallucinogens), on the shield is a marijuana leaf (Cannabis), On the soldiers belt features the famous M pill for oxy (Narcotic analgesic), on his hand is a mug of wine for CNS depressants, under his left foot is a crushed can of spray paint (inhalants), and under his right foot is a broken bottle of Ketamine (dissociative anesthetics). This features all seven categories DREs look for.
